Venezuela expressed concerns over the Israeli aggression in Gaza and set an example for Bolivia and other South American nations.


IHH representative visited the Venezuelan ambassador at the Venezuelan embassy and discussed regional developments. Ünsal sent IHH’s congratulations and thanks to Venezuelan President Chavez via the ambassador for representing the attitude of not only South America and the West but also the entire world against Israel’s actions in Palestine.


Seeland recalled Venezuela dispatched a ship of humanitarian materials to Gaza, but the ship was held back by Egypt.


Ünsal said Israel has been killing innocent civilians and causing immense destruction with chemical weapons to achieve Zionist goals, adding the IHH has initiated a campaign to urge the United Nations to declare Israel’s actions in Gaza as crimes of war. Seeland stated he would personally support the campaign and officially inform Chavez about it.
