IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Qatar Charity signed a strategic cooperation agreement together.
The union and signed strategic agreement between IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Qatar Charity was announced in a press conference held at DOHA.
The officials of the two organizations met today in the Qatar Charity headquarters located in Doha. The agreement was signed by IHH President Bulent Yıldırım and Qatar Charity CEO Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Kuwari.
In the press release they announced that this agreement signed between the two will bring both organizations already existing union closer. With this agreement, the two humanitarian aid agencies will become permanent partners. Together they will carry out short, medium and long term humanitarian aid projects in wider geographies.
Humanitarian crisis’s and poverty are increasing while potentials and resources are decreasing worldwide. In order to reach desired goals in the field of humanitarian aid, there is a desire to form partnerships and increase various actors in the field of aid and development.
The expertise and information link between IHH and Qatar Charity have strengthened further. In order to utilize and elevate the capabilities and resources of both organizations efficiently, they are planning to develop joint projects while supporting each other’s already existing projects.
After the parties signed the contract, they discussed priority projects they will be working on. A detailed guide of the agreement between both organizations partnership will be determined in a two day workshop which both parties’ experts and officials will be attending. The workshop is scheduled to take place within the next two months.
