IHH Reached over 3 Million People during Ramadan.
The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation ran activities in Türkiye and on six continents during its Ramadan programme this year, thanks to donors. Through its global operations, the Foundation reached a total of 3,308,146 people.

During the 2026 Ramadan, the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation operated in 66 countries under the slogan “Ramadan: A Call for Unity”. As part of its Ramadan aid activities, the Foundation distributed iftar and suhoor meals, food packages and Eid gifts for children. It also distributed zakat, fitra and fidya donations received from contributors to families in need. This year, IHH distributed a total of 1,609,499 iftar and suhoor meals abroad.



It also distributed 295,529 food packages and food cards.

During Ramadan, IHH distributed 170,254 food packages abroad and 125,275 food cards and boxes domestically. Through these efforts, the foundation reached 1,452,707 people, distributing a total of 295,529 food packages and food cards both domestically and abroad.

Tens of thousands of families received Zakat.

Additionally, the foundation provided zakat, fitra and fidya to 17,332 families abroad and 41,599 families in Türkiye. These efforts benefited a total of 294,655 people.

What has the Foundation done in Türkiye?

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation provided aid to a total of 888,465 people within Türkiye as part of its 2026 Ramadan activities. The distribution of 125,275 food cards and food packages across Türkiye has met the basic food needs of 626,375 people. Through social assistance and solidarity projects, zakat, fitra and fidya were distributed to 41,599 families, enabling 207,995 people to benefit from these programmes. Additionally, with the aim of sharing the joy of the holiday with children, the Foundation gifted 54,095 Eid clothing to children in coordination with local aid associations across the provinces.

What did the IHH do in Palestine?

Throughout the month of Ramadan, the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation continued its uninterrupted aid efforts for Palestinians. In Gaza, iftar and suhoor meals were provided for 150,000 people and food aid packages were delivered to 12,111 families to meet their basic food needs. The foundation also distributed zakat, fitra and fidya to 5,180 families. Furthermore, in partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP), 150,000 hot meals were distributed daily in the region, providing regular support to hundreds of thousands of Palestinians affected by the hunger crisis.

What was done in Sudan?

In Sudan, where living conditions have become increasingly difficult due to the civil war, IHH carried out a large-scale operation. During the month of Ramadan, the foundation distributed food packages to 34,423 families. As part of its social assistance efforts, it provided cash support to families in need by distributing zakat, fitra and fidya to 3,155 families. Furthermore, iftar and suhoor meals were provided to a total of 69,500 people throughout the month of Ramadan, with these being served at tables set up and distributed.

What was done in Syria during Ramadan?

As part of Ramadan activities, 225,546 iftar meals were distributed, along with 41,375 food boxes, 134,158 kg of dates and 785,917 kg of flour. As part of social support initiatives, zakat, fitra and fidya aid was provided to 2,755 families. In preparation for winter and the holiday season, 334,775 pairs of shoes and items of clothing were distributed, along with 3,800 toys to bring smiles to children's faces.

Over 75,000 children were delighted with Eid gifts.

The Foundation also distributed holiday clothing to 20,960 children abroad. In collaboration with local aid associations, it gave clothing to 54,095 children within the country. In total, 75,055 children received new Eid clothing.

World Orphans Day brought smiles to children’s faces.

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation made a special effort to share the blessings of Ramadan with orphaned children. As part of these efforts, special iftar and suhoor programmes were organised for a total of 2,541 orphaned children in 36 orphanages across eight countries throughout Ramadan.

On World Orphans Day, which fell on the 15^(th) day of Ramadan, numerous celebrations, iftar meals and entertainment programmes were held simultaneously in our country and various regions around the world. These events brought smiles to the faces of thousands of children.

The countries where the foundation carries out its work are as follows: Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine, Brazil, Cuba, Peru, Chile, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Djibouti, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Guinea, South Africa, Kenya, Comoros, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Zimbabwe, Palestine, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Lebanon, Morocco, Egypt, Syria, Tunisia, Jordan, Yemen and Türkiye. The Foundation also provides aid to refugees in Bangladesh (Rohingya), Indonesia (Bangsamoro), Cambodia, Myanmar (Rakhine), Nepal, Pakistan and Thailand (Patani).

The foundation continues its aid efforts across the world.
