IHH Remembers Mauritania on Eid al Adha
As part of our 2021 qurban operations, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation delivered the qurban of donors to 1.265 deprived people living in Mauritania.

IHH set out with the aim of delivering this year’s qurban donations to 65 countries including Turkey with the slogan “Remember Them on Eid al-Adha.” We also carried out qurban sacrifices in the West African country Mauritania. In this scope, IHH teams sacrificed 210 qurbans in Mauritania and distributed them to the people in need.

The qurbans were sacrificed in the capital Nouakchott under the supervision of IHH teams before being distributed to people in need. 1.265 Mauritanians benefitted from these aid.

“We delivered the qurban entrustments to those in need”

IHH Disaster Management Coordinator Emre Yerli who participated in the qurban distribution said they had delivered the qurban donations entrusted to them from Turkey to people in need. Yerli explained that in addition to the qurban sacrifices, IHH teams also evaluated the needs of the Mauritanian people; they visited orphaned families in the region.

Our aid operations have been completed

With the support of our donors, IHH completed its 2021 qurban operations with the slogan “Remember Them on Eid al-Adha.”
