
The four trucks, prepared to reach civilians affected by the Russia-Ukraine War, were sent off with a ceremony held at the IHH Tuzla Emre Yerli Disaster Management and Logistics Centre. The trucks will reach civilians affected by the war in Ukraine.
157 generators sent
One of the trucks contained 1,100 food parcels, while another carried hygiene items such as nappies, sanitary towels, wet wipes, shampoo and soap. One truck carried winter underwear. On top of boots and coats the fourth truck carried 157 generators to meet the electricity needs of civilians experiencing severe power shortages.

Speaking at the truck send-off ceremony, IHH Board Member Osman Atalay stated that IHH had begun its winter aid efforts. Atalay said, ‘Today we are sending four trucks of aid supplies to Ukraine. The trucks contain generators, food, hygiene and clothing supplies.’
Ukrainian Economic Attaché Artem Popov thanked IHH for the aid. Popov said, ‘The aid materials sent from here, especially the generators, will be very useful. There is a great need due to the frequent power cuts in the region caused by the war.’
The programme ended with the trucks setting off.
