IHH in Venezuela
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation reached a helpful hand to Venezuela which was hit by heavy rainfall. IHH Aid Teams delivered 2500 food packages to the families in Altos del Gallego and Altagracia.

At the beginning of December, the 15-day long heavy rains caused land sliding and flooding in Venezuela. 75 thousand houses became dysfunctional due to the flooding and thousands of people have been affected badly. 38 people lost their lives and dozens of people injured as a result of the disaster.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation which carries aid organizations in 125 countries and regions of the world, also carried relief works in Venezuela located in South America. IHH executive board member Osman Atalay and the president of Mazlumder Ahmet Faruk Unsal also attended to the relief works. The IHH Aid Teams delivered food packets to 2500 families in the regions of Altos del gallego and Altagracia. The members of Venezuela Islamic Society were also participated to the deliveries. The people of Venezuela were touched by the help and thanked to the people of Turkey.

Humanitarian aid from IHH to the people of Sudan who migrated to Chad
The clashes between the army and the Rapid Support Forces (SSF) in Sudan have been going on since April 15. During the civil war process, in which 550 people lost their lives and nearly 5,000 were injured, more than 700,000 Sudanese migrated to different places. IHH, which provides emergency aid to civilians in the country, distributed hot meals and food parcels to people of Sudan who migrated to the border country of Chad.

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation is carrying out activities in earthquake zones with 5,943 search and rescue workers and aid volunteers. While the IHH Search and Rescue Teams pulled 3,028 deceased and injured people from the rubble, emergency aid volunteers delivered support to hundreds of thousands of people in many different areas.
