Ankara Human Rights and Service Association and IHH volunteers in the city of Ankara hosted 20 orphans coming from Gaza. The orphans were taken on a city tour and were given clothes. They arrived in Turkey the previous weekend and will be attending cultural events in a number of cities.   

The volunteers clothed 100 orphans for the upcoming Islamic holiday as part of “Put a Smile on Face of 100 Orphans” campaign they started in Ramadan. The volunteers also organized iftar dinner for orphans from Gaza, Afghanistan, Somalia and Ankara. One hundred and forty orphans attended the dinner at Altınpark Rıhtım Restaurant. The Gazan orphans said they liked Turkey and were happy to be there     

The orphans were entertained by clowns and balloons, and were given presents.
