The IHH provided support to tens of thousands of Palestinians in 2023
The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation provided support to tens of thousands of Palestinians in 2023 through its humanitarian aid activities. IHH distributed food packages to 14,595 families and served hot meals to 219,865 people. It also implemented various other humanitarian aid projects in different fields.

The occupying Israeli apartheid regime, which has been committing genocide in Gaza, continues its attacks indiscriminately targeting women, children, the elderly, and civilians. 24,448 people have lost their lives, and 61,504 people have been injured Since October 7 including at least 10,300 children, and 7,100 women. Gazans continue to live under extremely difficult conditions due to genocide, massacres, and blockade.

IHH provide hot meals to 220,000 people

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which has been involved in humanitarian aid efforts in Palestine for many years, continued its work in 2023. As part of these efforts, food packages were distributed to 14,595 families, and hot meals were provided to 219,865 individuals. The foundation also delivered 1,033 tankers of drinking water to Palestine.

Following October 7, the IHH continued its aid efforts for Palestinians in need and sent 8 trucks loaded with food and shelter materials, as well as 1 truck containing various medical supplies, to Palestine. As part of the 2023 Eid al-Adha (Feast of Sacrifice) campaign, 28 cattle were sacrificed and distributed to those in need in the Gaza Strip, while 5 cattle were sacrificed and distributed in the West Bank. Additionally, 2,520 portions of frozen meat from the sacrificed animals were sent to Gaza and distributed. Furthermore, 3 ambulances purchased by the IHH are planned to be delivered to Gaza in the coming days.

Other aid activities carried out by the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation in Palestine in 2023 include:

- 1 truck of drinking water

- 30 sacrificial animals for the Adha and Aqiqah rituals

- Cash assistance to 1,043 individuals

- 500 baby diapers and formula

- Prosthetic eye treatment for 10 injured Palestinians who lost their sight

- Distribution of stationery sets and school bags to 198 students

- 1,000 first aid kits

- 1,786 loaves of bread

- Blanket support to 1,253 families

- 1,906 hygiene kits

- 2 hearing aids and 1 isolation room for Hayfa Hospital in Gaza

- 2 defibrillators for Alawde Hospital

- Supply of consumables to Alzahraa Hospital

- Provision of medication to 3 different hospitals

- Winter support packages for 455 families

- Repairs in 2 houses as part of the Reconstruction Project

- Distribution of clothes to 500 children

- 116 adult diapers
