Long years of occupation engraved Afghanistan. While the effects of the destruction of the country's economy during the years of occupation are still continuing, millions of people are in need of humanitarian aid. Following the start of the new academic year, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation implemented an aid project to meet the stationery needs of needy students studying in schools in Afghanistan.
Within the scope of the project, stationery sets were distributed in Pakitka, Meydan Vardak, Ghazni and Pervan provinces. Under the project, 3,649 stationery sets were distributed in Meydan Vardak, 764 in Ghazni, 307 in Pakitka and 280 in Pervan.
The sets included a school bag, 2 striped notebooks, 1 drawing notebook, 4 pencils, 1 geometry set, 1 crayon set, 2 erasers and 1 pencil sharpener.
IHH's humanitarian aid activities in Afghanistan continue.
