IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation is continuing its operations at full speed to stem the effects of the coronavirus pandemic that has spread across the entire world. IHH, that is currently conducting its aid activities mainly in Turkey, also continues to deliver aid contributions of donors to those in need abroad. Apart from distributing aid, IHH is also conducting programs to lift the morale and motivation of Turkey’s healthcare workers in particular. As a part of these programs, IHH teams visit hospitals and delivered small gift packets to thank the healthcare workers that work day and night for the people of Turkey.
“They are working intensively”
IHH Domestic Aid Department Coordinator Haluk Özüer who said, “Our aim is to provide moral support for their efforts during these difficult times”, completed his statement by saying:
“We see that our healthcare personnel and workers are working intensively in our country due to the coronavirus pandemic. IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation wanted to give them a small thank you gift. We visited 12 hospitals in three days. Our gift packets contain water, fruit juices, cakes, hand sanitizers, slippers, pajamas, batteries for medical devices, masks and gloves. This is our way to show our appreciation for all their effort.”
Visits will continue
IHH teams will continue to visit hospitals to deliver the gift packets.
