Every year, the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation reaches tens of thousands of people in need through its winter aid efforts. This year, it has also carried out many aid activities in various fields as part of its winter initiatives.
In addition to ongoing efforts abroad, support in the form of fuel, boots, and jackets has also been provided within Turkey.
As part of the efforts, assistance of 2,000 TL per household was given to cover the heating expenses of 1,000 families residing in cities of Türkiye Çanakkale, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Giresun, Kütahya, Ağrı, and Uşak.
Boots and Jackets for 2,567 Children
Additionally, the foundation gifted boots and jackets to a total of 2,567 children, including 500 in Ağrı, 500 in Siirt, 450 in Bingöl, 350 in Bitlis, 350 in Muş, 317 in Van, and 100 in Kırıkkale. In this initiative, children were invited to partner stores along with their families to select and receive the boots and jackets.
