The occupying Israeli Forces continue their attacks on healthcare centers, hospitals, and medical staff in Gaza. Since October 7, 2023, the apartheid regime has killed more than 1,100 healthcare workers. By rendering hospitals unusable and even targeting neonatal intensive care units, Israel is preventing Gazans from receiving necessary medical treatment.
In a time when the need for health assistance is increasing daily, the aid delivered to Gaza plays a critical role.
Having been engaged in humanitarian aid efforts in Gaza for many years, IHH has intensified its activities since October 7, 2023. In addition to supporting hundreds of thousands of Gazans in areas such as food, shelter, and hygiene, the foundation has also implemented numerous health projects.
Various health projects undertaken
As part of its health initiatives, IHH has sent 12 ambulances to Gaza. The foundation has also provided:
501 types of medicines and medical supplies, 167 hospital beds and examination cabinets, 40 wheelchairs, 100 patient walkers, 100 crutches, 9,274 adult diapers, 108,308 hygiene packages.
Furthermore, IHH has delivered hospital equipment, including ultrasound machines, X-ray machines, autorefractors, dental chairs, and patient monitors. The foundation’s humanitarian aid efforts for Gaza continue.
