Families start to move into new IHH refugee camp
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation started to admit Syrian families into the new refugee camp for which it started to build in June.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation started to admit Syrian families into the new refugee camp which it started to build in June.

Syrian families who fled their homes, lost their relatives, disabled as a result of the civil war that started 4 years ago take refuge in the IHH’s refugee camps set up in border towns. IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation offer shelter to those Syrian refugees in tent and container camps set up with donations from Turkey and abroad.

Recently Sijju Container Camps built by IHH around Aleppo opened its doors to refugee families. The families who have been living at Bab al-Salam Tent Camp accommodating 18.000 families for the longest time are transferred to Sijju Container Camp.

New camp will accommodate 1,000 families

Sijju Container Camps serves hot meals and bread to the refugees. There are 1,000 container houses, a mosque of 1,000 people capacity a school and sport areas and green parks inside the camp. So far 500 container houses are completed in the container city and 500 families have moved in.
