The occupying Israel's attacks on Lebanon continue. So far, 654 people have lost their lives and thousands of people have been injured due to the attacks. Nearly 500 thousand people from various parts of the country, especially the south of the country, had to migrate inside and outside the country. Thousands of families took refuge in schools and temporary shelters.
The country is in dire need of humanitarian aid.
Efforts were carried out in 3 different regions
IHH, which has been providing humanitarian aid in Lebanon for many years, started its emergency aid efforts after the occupying Israel started its attacks. On the first day of its efforts, the Foundation provided support to those in need in Beirut, Sayda and Shouf regions.
Within the scope of the efforts, food rations and hygiene packages were distributed to 100 families sheltering in a school in Beirut. Afterwards, hot meals were served to 450 people in Sayda. In Shouf, blankets and mattresses were distributed to 150 people.
In addition, IHH continues to establish a kitchen in Iklim al-Kharroub region. When the kitchen, which is planned to be completed in a few days, starts to serve, it will have the capacity to distribute meals to 4 thousand people on a regular basis every day.
The Foundation's emergency aid efforts in Lebanon continue.
