Islamic Scholars Convene to Resolve Syrians’ Education Problems
Prominent Islamic scholars from around the world sat down to discuss Syrians’ education problems and possible solutions in Kilis.

IHH Humanitarian Relief Organization Syria Relief Efforts Coordination Office in Kilis organized a conference entitled “Education of Syrians/ Problems and Solutions”.

Prominent Islamic scholars from around the world attended the conference. IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation president Bülent Yıldırım addressed the participants in the opening of the conference and pointed out that education of Syrians is interrupted and that it is one of issues he cares most. “We are holding a meeting with our scholars coming from around the world. Their views are invaluable for us. We would like to set out Syrians’ education. We don’t want them go uneducated. The world needs to take action to help them complete their incomplete education” Yıldırım said.

The scholars attending the conference agreed that lack of access to education is one of the biggest problems that Syrians face due to war and that macro solutions to solve this problem should be thought out and worked on.

The participants, Salman Al Odaah, Osama Al Rifaei, Abdulwahab Al Triri, and Nureddin Yıldız highlighted that education is one the pressing problems of Syrians suffering the tragedy of war and that efforts should be concentrated on it.
