Israel bombs the Islamic University of Gaza
Continuing with their bombardment of Gaza, the Israeli occuping airforce aimed their missiles at the most important Islamic establishment, the Islamic University of Gaza. Whilst there was significant damage to a number of buildings there was no loss of life.

Continuing with their bombardment of Gaza, the Israeli occuping airforce aimed their missiles at the most important Islamic establishment, the Islamic University of Gaza.  Whilst there was significant damage to a number of buildings there was no loss of life.
 
According to information obtained from the IHH Gaza office, the Israeli F-16 planes attacked the 
the university which is in the er-Rimal district and has 70,000 students. The dormitory that houses the female students was partially destroyed and the surrounding buildings were also damaged.
 
The university was attacked in the 2009 Israeli attacks and was repaired by IHH for a total of 720,000 Euro. It included laboratory and computer centre as well as a conference room.
