Aid truck from Istanbul to Syria
Various food items, hygiene products and clothing have been sent from Istanbul to those in need in Syria with prayers.

Within the scope of the campaign “I Need You”, the Oz Kevser Education, Culture and Solidary Foundation has organized an aid truck with support from IHH.
 
The truck departed the foundation centre from Eyup with an official ceremony. Speaking at the event, Oz Kevser Foundation President Ferhat Calisye, said that as a result of the war the victims in Syria were increasing “With the ummah in mind, as we have looked after them up to today we will help them tomorrow as much as we can with all the possibilities, the support and assistance from people who have donated, to transport to Syria as much as we can”.
 
 
Calisye, who emphasised that remaining apathetic to the events in Syria wasn't an issue, also said that “Last month we sent two trucks with clothing and again this month we are sending another truck with food to Syria. Firstly we are sending childrens and baby food, baby biscuits, and various other food iteams, conserves and clothes for them. Up to 30,000 items worth 80,000TL has been sent. We will continue to support this campaign. May God bless all those who have assisted us”.
 
As part of the “I Need You” campaign, 3,241 trucks up to now have been sent to Syria in order to help the victims of the war.
 
 
3,241th Truck
 
IHH Board Member Mehment Kara said: “Thanks to God, the Ansaar brothers from Turkey have helped the Syrian refugees brothers by sending the 3,241th truck. We thank all those in Turkey who have contributed donations and have been charitable. The Oz Kevser Foundation who has organised this out of their positive envy resulted in this truck being sent today. While the IHH Search and Rescue Teams pulled 2,934 deceased and injured people from the rubble, emergency aid volunteers delivered support to hundreds of thousands of people in many different areas.

IHH is at the earthquake zone with a 3,359 person team
Search and rescue efforts continue in the areas affected by the earthquake. 65 search and rescue teams of IHH, consisting of 1447 people, are working together with 2 search and rescue dogs. IHH also continues its aid efforts in other ways such as providing food, shelter and clothing through an emergency aid distribution team consisting of 1728 people. IHH Chairman Bülent Yıldırım, Executive Board Members and 184 coordination officers are also in the earthquake area.
