The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation is to materialize a new project in support of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon. The foundation, which has carried out dozens of projects for refugees who are sheltered in Lebanon, will open a center named Istanbul Educational Center at the Ain al-Hilwa refugee camp.

A building has been purchased and will be inaugurated after necessary equipment and tools have been provided. The center will offer computer and language courses to Palestinian refugees. Turkish language classes will also be offered. The center aims at establishing a bridge between Palestinian refugees and Muslims of Turkey.

Student residents of other refugee camps other than Ain al-Hilwa will also benefit from the facilities. Courses will be offered to all students from primary school pupils to university students. The courses will complement formal school instruction.

The center will employ experienced instructors and will be equipped with computer and modern educational materials to provide refugee students with an opportunity to improve their skills.
