Macedonian NGOs are carrying on aid campaign they launched to raise fund for the people of Gaza.

Ogullar Association and a number of NGOs from Macedonia raised €13,500 and handed it to the IHH to be extended to the Gazan people.

Taylan Çolak, honorary president of the association, said: “We wanted to take the side of the oppressed in this war and to offer our modest help to the affected Gazan people. A huge humanitarian tragedy is unfolding in Gaza. We cannot remain unconcerned.”

“Gaza came under heavy bombardment for 22 days before the eyes of the entire world. Children and women were killed. We understand the pain of our brothers and sisters in Gaza since we went through similar sufferings not long ago in the Balkans. To help alleviate the pain of the Gazan people we raised fund and are now handing it to the IHH to deliver it to Gaza on our behalf,” Association’s president Engin Karpuz said.
