Visitors flock to see Mavi Marmara
Mavi Marmara ship, which was opened to visits on the second day of its return to İstanbul on Monday, drew hundreds of Turks and foreigners who want to see the ship, which is anchored at the port of Sa
Palestine, Turkey 27.12.2010

Visitors saw the traces of Israeli massacre on the ship with their own eyes. Although Israel tried to eliminate the traces of its brutality, there are still many blood stains and bullet holes on the ship’s floor and walls, which shock the visitors.

There are photos of the martyred peace activists on the parts of the ship they were killed. People send their prayers for the martyrs praying in front of their photos. Most of them shed tears while touring the ship.

Members from the ship’s crew who witnessed the Israeli raid on May 31 inform the visitors about the course of the incidents on that bloody night.

Mavi Marmara ship will be open to visits between 11 am and 6 pm throughout the week. It will then be sent to Tuzla shipyard to undergo repairs and maintenance.
