Little Semira began to hear with the aid of IHH
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation gave a hearing aid as a gift to one and half year old Semira who has 98 per cent hearing loss in her ears.
Syria 09.08.2014

According to official figures 170 thousand people have lost their lives in the ongoing attacks in Syria, more than 500 thousand people have been injured. IHH is continuing their aid work across Syria since the start of the events.

The war has forbidden millions of people from their homes, the infrastructure is completely destroyed, and many people do not even have access to basic living supplies. One and a half year old Semira is just only one of them. The lack of treatment opportunities in Syria, has forced Semira and her family to leave Aleppo and take refuge in Kilis.

One and half year old Semira's ears do not hear since the day of her birth. With the involvement of IHH donors a hearing aid that has been given to the little Syrian will aid her to hear up to 50 per cent after a 2-3 month treatment.
