New homes for 8 orphan families
Assisting for over 10 years with humanitarian aid projects, IHH is continuing to carry out permanent projects in the country.
SouthAsia, SriLanka 25.11.2014

IHH housing project has brought a smile to many families' faces in Sri Lanka.

Assisting for over 10 years with humanitarian aid projects, IHH is continuing to carry out permanent projects in the country.

IHH, which has taken care of 1021 orphans through the sponsorhip program, recently has handed over the keys to the homes of 8 orphan families.

With the low standard of living in Sri Lanka many families build their homes from reeds or grass, with no electricity, water or sewerage system making the homes unprotected and prone to causing illness.

IHH provides homes for many families in many countries, and have now provided homes for a total of 20 families in Sri Lanka.
