IHH continues to deliver humanitarian aid convoys to Syria. 22 more aid trucks have been sent out to Syria.
IHH's Syrian studies coordinator center located in Reyhanli, sent out 22 humanitarian aid trucks to Syria for the distribution of aid. IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation prepared the aid convoy with the support of the Kuwaiti civil society organization. Before the trucks were sent out to Reyhanli, a press conference was held.
IHH President Bulent Yıldırım reminded us that the Syrian war has been continuing for four years now. He also stated that the humanitarian aid should be sent to the Syrians continuously. Yildirim also thanked the Kuwaiti civil society organization for their assistance and support.
Omar Marifi who spoke on behalf of the Kuwaiti civil society organization stated that they are very happy to be working with IHH and that they will continue to assist the Syrians with their needs.
22 trucks carrying aid packages which contain necessities such as flour, dried beans and other foods will enter Syria through two borders. The first one will enter through Reyhanli's Ceylanpinar border while the other one will enter through Kilis's Oncupinar border.
The convoy carrying relief supplies worth USD 600,000 will be distributed to the Syrian victims of war by the IHH team. Many Kuwaiti humanitarian agencies such as Zakat house, Sheik Abdullah Al-Nouri foundation, Kuwait foundation and Ministry of Religious Affairs, Patient Helping Fund Society, International Rahma foundation, Kuwait Charity Organization and the International Islamic Relief Organization made a contribution to the aid convoy.
