Palestine, MiddleEast 17.01.2009

Having been the first charity to provide aids to Gaza since the beginning of Israeli attacks on December 27, 2008, our team also became the first team among international aid organizations to enter Gaza.

Along with four surgeons and one nurse from Turkey, our CEO Bulent Yildirim, management comitte member Osman Atalay,  Ayhan Kucuk, Istanbul chief of the charity “Mazlumder” managed to enter Gaza under fire.

While our team is organizing the aid distribution efforts, doctors in our health team are treating the wounded at the Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

“We see that Israel rained fires everywhere in Gaza. Children are distraught. Israeli fire is not discriminating against any target. Gaza is still being bombed. But Israel lost this war even if they hit everywhere.” said IHH chief Bulent Yildirim as he told us his first impressions.
