We are working in 27 countries in the fields of human rights, humanitarian assistance and international law under the slogan “a world without poverty,” Oxfam Novib Director Karimi said and added they decided to visit IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation after observing its efforts in many countries they also operate.

Karimi noted that rapidly developing countries such as Turkey, Brazil and India were new global actors not only in politics and economy but also in humanitarian assistance activities, adding it was a must for the two agencies to cooperate.

Humanitarian crisis in East Africa, humanitarian relief activities, encountered problems and areas of cooperation were discussed at the meeting.
