IHH has recently found out that fake job ads for nurses, cooks, engineers, drivers and nannies were posted in different online platforms in various countries on behalf of IHH via an email account, which has no association with our organization. The same email sender or senders, who posed as IHH officers, then asked fees for work permit from unsuspecting people who knowing and trusting IHH were interested in the so-called job offers. IHH has already reported this fraudulent activity at the Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office for the frauds to be caught, said the IHH’s attorney UğurYıldırım. Here is his statement to the public:

"Recently various people from different parts of the world have contacted my client IHH to consider their CVs which they said they were sending with regards to the job ads on the internet. When the matter was investigated it was found out that unknown person or persons posing have posted fake job ads nurses, cooks, engineers, drivers and nannies in different online platforms in various countries on behalf of IHH via an email account, which has no association with our organization. These dubious people reach out to innocent people who know and trust my client IHH’ credibility through an email account which has no association with IHH and give them a Turkish telephone number and email address. Their collaborators, who pose as IHH officers, answer the calls and emails of unsuspecting people and collect their CVs and personal information then engage in fraud by asking money for their work permit and residency applications.

My client IHH hires his employees in Turkey and abroad following the official procedures after the approval of the Human Resources unit. Moreover my client has no hiring practice through online advertisement. My client has no association with a website or email address except its official website which is www.ihh.org.tr.
We would like to duly inform the public that we have reported the frauds at the Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office and that IHH has no association whatsoever with the email addresses and fake job ads concerned."

Furthermore, in various European (German, Belgian and Dutch) countries there are various organizations working in the same field with our organization and bearing similar names and logos with our organization. We are not associated with those organizations.
