IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation continues to take Ramadan relief donated by charity givers to the people in need in every part of the country.
Indonesia, Turkey 07.08.2012

The center of joy in Aceh was the İstanbul Orphanage Complex, which was opened by the IHH for the children in Aceh orphaned by a tsunami disaster.

Food was delivered to the residents of Cot Suruy, Melayu and Cot Kue regions in the surroundings of the complex. Around 1,000 people benefited from the iftar tables in addition to 250 families who received food aid.

In addition, food packages were delivered to the families in need and iftar tables were set up in Darussalam and Darul Imarah regions.

Eighty orphan girls staying at the İstanbul Orphanage Complex bought new clothes for them for the Eid and lived the joy of Eid al-Fitr earlier.

The orphanage complex, which was constructed on an area of 5,000 square-meters with nine blocs, was inaugurated on 23 November 2006 with an official ceremony. The orphanage complex meets a significant need in the region which was ravaged by the tsunami disaster.
