Şanlıurfa IHH didn't leave Ezidi people alone
Ezidi people (also known as Yezidis) who live in Sinjar (Shengal) region in Mosul, Iraq and who had to leave their houses because of the clashes experienced in the recent days have been fleeing to the Viranşehir district of Şanlıurfa.

IHH gave a helping hand to Ezidi families coming to Viranşehir. Şanlıurfa IHH teams visited the houses that Ezidis live in Viranşehir and took notes about the needs of the people and distributed basic needs of the people as blankets, mattress, food packages, diapers, hygiene packets, baby food in the afternoon on the same day.

Şanlıurfa IHH President Behçet Atilla made a statement about the matter to the journalists and said that Ezidis had to leave their houses as Syrians did and they took refugee in Turkey and as IHH they tried to meet the needs of these people and they will do their best for these people.

Atilla continued ¨Today, our team has distributed basic needs of these people as blankets, mattress, food packages, diapers, hygiene packets, baby food to 11 families (55 people) and we are trying to meet the needs of other families, also.¨ Atilla pointed out that they will contine their aid according to the needs of these people.
