Since its establishment, IHH is providing aid to orphans in two ways, one of which is periodical aid while the other one is permanent aid. The foundation carries out various projects for the orphans to meet their needs for education, healthcare and accommodation. With begining of the Sponsor Family System in 2007, IHH has been providing regular financial aid to 22,505 orphans in Turkey and 35 countries across the world.

The foundation acts as a bridge between the orphans and volunteer families supporting orphan children via our Sponsor Family System. Due to the economic circumstances, IHH had to change the amount of monthly donations made by the sponsor families for the orphans. The amount of the monthly donation was stable over the past four years; however the economic crisis in the United States and Europe and the fluctuations in the foreign currency made such a change inevitable.

According to the new practice which will take effect as of January 1, 2012, the amount of monthly donations in the Sponsor Family System will be 50 USD.

IHH Provides Winter Aid to Thousands in Türkiye

IHH has conducted humanitarian aid efforts in many cities across Türkiye as part of its winter aid initiatives. As part of these efforts, fuel support of 2,000 TL per household was provided to 1,000 families, and boots and jackets were distributed to 2,567 children in need.
