Operating under the slogan "Ramadan A Call for Unıty,” the foundation continued its Ramadan activities in Syria, where the war is ongoing, by regularly serving iftar meals to those in need in various regions.
Zeki Tahiroğlu, the Coordinator of IHH Syria Operations in the Reyhanlı Region, stated that Ramadan activities in Syria were ongoing intensively. Tahiroğlu mentioned that they have been distributing iftar meals every day since the beginning of Ramadan, stating, "We serve iftar meals to 3,000 people every day in regions such as Idlib, Afrin, Azaz, Al-Bab, and Jarabulus in Syria. During the first 20 days of Ramadan, we provided iftar meals to 60,000 orphans, widows, elderly, and those in need in Syria."
Tahiroğlu invited donors to support their efforts in the last days of Ramadan, saying, "As IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, our slogan for this year is 'Ramadan Calling for Brotherhood.' In this regard, we invite philanthropists to support the oppressed and those in need in war zones and all around the world."
Since the begin of the war in 2011, IHH has been conducting relief efforts within Syria.
