IHH took action upon a news report from Anatolian News Agency which reported that Syrian triplets are waiting for milk. IHH has extended a helping hand to the triplets of Syrian Demis family who live in one of the tents close to Atma town in Syria, located in the opposite of Bükülmez village in Hatay’s Rehyanlı district.

The family which used to live in Jebil Zavi town of Idlib had to flee their town when their house was demolished in an aerial bombardment.

IHH teams delivered various relief items, milk and food to the eight-member Demis family which try to continue their lives in a tent they established themselves. The family suffers from healthcare and heating problems.

Opening the food packages inside the tent, Emme Al Demis put the milk in nursing bottles and fed her babies.

“Since we were unable to find milk, I was trying to feed my babies with adult food such as rice. May Allah be pleased with those who brought us this aid,” she said.

Press advisor of IHH Hatay Office Burak Karacaoğlu said the IHH provided relief to Demis family after Anatolia News Agency’s report.

Noting that IHH takes relief to many parts of Syria, Karacaoğlu said: “We took milk, baby formula, diapers, biscuits and wet napkins for the triplets of this family. We will continue to help them as much as we can.”
