They made 875 people see
This month, Kur’an ve Sünnet Yolunda Grubu (the Path of the Qur’an and Sunnah Group), a group that organizes monthly humanitarian aid projects, together with IHH, has organized 875 cataract surgeries.
Mali, SriLanka 14.03.2022

The Kur’an ve Sünnet Yolunda Grubu gave hope to vision-impaired patients by performing 875 cataract surgeries in Sri Lanka and Mali.

In Africa and different geographies of the world, many young people lose their vision to cataracts due to hot weather, malnutrition and climate conditions. With insufficient ophthalmologists and healthcare services, many patients, especially in rural areas, succumb to their disease and live in the dark. When cataract surgery is delayed, then the cataract impairs the patient’s vision completely.

Together with IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, the Kur’an ve Sünnet Yolunda Grubu continues to deliver its assistance to those in need with the support of donors.
