Thank You Letter to IHH by Turkey’s Tunisian Embassy
Turkish Ambassador to Tunisia Akin Algin sent a thank you letter to IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation due to conducted relief works in Libya, saying that our teams successfully organized relief works

The Ambassador indicated in his letter that “The IHH humanitarian relief team that is consisted of Murat Bayraktar, Mustafa Ozturk, Hakkı Aygun and Mehmet Akif Turan, under the lead of Urgent Relief Coordinator Recep Guzel; coming to Tunisian-Libyan border between the dates February 24- March 4, 2011 in order to help to both Turkish and international citizens who are trying to cross the indicated border following the erupted events in Libya;  has reached to success in performing its services to people indiscriminately to race, nationality, religion or language by working day and night with devotion and gained the justified appreciation of both the Tunisian authorities and the international organizations of the same kind and other humanitarian relief groups from various countries.

I personally witnessed the devoted and admirable work of IHH humanitarian relief team during my visited to the Tunisian- Libyan border. I would like to express the thanks on behalf of myself and the Turkish embassy of Tunisia to you notably to the coordinator of the relief team Recep Guzel and every member of the team due to the humanitarian relief works which are glorifies the name of our country at the same time, by wishing great success for the future works.”

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which took action immediately in the aftermath of the attacks, launched emergency relief efforts for the people of Gaza.
