The International Intern Training Program, organized by the Gulf and Arab Countries Relations Department of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, was held in Istanbul from June 22 to July 30. The training process contributed to enhancing the participants’ knowledge and experience in crisis management, humanitarian aid operations, and field practices.

As part of the program, a Sphere Standards Training session was also held, focusing on international humanitarian standards. Through this training, students gained detailed knowledge of the international standards that play an important role in the planning and implementation of humanitarian aid activities.

At the end of the program, a project proposal presentation competition was organized to enable participants to put the knowledge and experience they had acquired into practice. Four groups took part in the competition, and two groups that prepared projects focusing on Gaza and Sudan received the same score and jointly took first place.

During the closing ceremony, IHH presented reference letters to the students who achieved top rankings. Participants also received certificates confirming their successful completion of the program.
