Extending a helping hand to 23,100 orphans in Turkey and 36 countries and regions across the world thanks to its Sponsor Family System, the IHH has not left the orphan families alone with the periodical support it has given to them after the Eid al-Adha. IHH’s orphan care unit has provided boots to orphans in Turkey and social support to their families in addition to coal and stove for winter.

IHH provided winter boots to 51 orphans on the Anatolian and European side of İstanbul while it gave TL5, 000 each to two orphan women who are getting ready for marriage. The foundation also delivered coal [worth of TL300] to 25 families in Tatvan and Bitlis. In addition, 13 families in İstanbul were provided with coal and six families were provided with stoves. Families of nine orphans were given beds, refrigerators while six others were provided with various kitchen utensils and furniture.
