Yildirim to Gazans: “Don’t Worry, We Are On Our Way”
Israeli navy is still harassing the Freedom Flotilla with 3 warships, 1 submarine, 1 helicopter and aircrafts. Despite the harassment, our ships are sailing towards Gaza.
Palestine, MiddleEast, Turkey 31.05.2010

Boat convoy, sailed on to break the embargo on Gaza, is now being tracked by Israeli navy’s warships, submarine, helicopters and military aircrafts. Despite all this, the flotilla is determined to reach its destination.

Bulent Yildirim, President of IHH, noting that they are being harassed by the warships and helicopters, said “At the moment, we are surrounded by the Israeli navy and they are tracking us. It seems they will keep doing this until we reach Gaza. Right now, Israel is breaching the international law. They are attacking our right to communication by interfering with our satellite system. They are harassing us in international waters, out of the area which they declared as their interception zone. This does not intimidate us. We are calm and done all the preparations. In case of an attack everyone on the ship knows what to do to defend themselves. We are on our way to Gaza to embrace the orphans and those who are in need of help. I am calling out to them, don’t worry, we are on our way. We are coming, no matter what. Nothing can stop us.”
