After the typhoon disaster on the 10th of November 2013 in Tacloban Philippines, tens thousands of people have lost their lives and many people are still missing. The typhoon has left behind destroyed homes, ships that have drifted ashore and many people who have lost their loved ones.

After the disaster, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, along with the emergency crews provided necessary assistance to the region in the fastest way possible, while the production team filmed a documentary film called "Yolanda" that shows the local peoples struggle to survive.

The documentary filmed in Tacloban is subject to the story of Jerry Bituin who managed to survive after the disaster. In the documentary Jerry makes us feel that he has not given up on life despite losing his home and close relatives after the disaster. In fact, Jerry stated the following sentence in the interview "If we could not have put up with the result of the disaster, Allah would not have given us such a disaster", this was a response to all the questions that could be asked after the disaster. Actually, even this sentence tells us many things about the documentary.

The 17-minute film with Turkish subtitles that is presented to the audience is produced by IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and is directed by Emre Karapınar.
