2024 was a year in which humanity needed solidarity more than ever due to natural disasters, humanitarian crises and wars on a global scale. The effects of increasing climate change, floods, fires and earthquakes reminded us once again how important it is to be prepared for disasters and to develop a sustainable disaster management approach.
