The one-day conference was held in five sessions, three of which were panel discussions. The panel discussions focused on topics such as the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, ways to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, challenges in delivering humanitarian aid, the necessity of meeting basic needs, the consequences of forced displacement, and how to meet basic needs.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres also sent a video message to the conference. In his message, Guterres called on Israel to declare a "immediate" ceasefire.
At the conference, the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation also participated as a strategic partner. Representing the Foundation, Izzet Sahin, a member of the Board of Trustees, Emre Kaya, a member of the Board of Directors, and officials from various departments attended the conference.
Promise of Over $2 Billion in Aid to Gaza
At the IHH booth, participants were provided information about the aid activities carried out in Palestine and different regions of the world. The booth was also visited by the Turkish Ambassador to Kuwait, Tuba Nur Sönmez.
In the closing session of the conference, a humanitarian initiative called "SANAD" was launched, and the participating organizations committed to providing over $2 billion in aid to Gaza.
