The audience at the Palestine Night listened to poems of Serdar Tuncer, songs of Mustafa Cihat, Ömer Karaoğlu and Grup Genç as well as a presentation by Hasan Aynacı, Middle East Desk Coordinator of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, on the ongoing oppression in Palestine. The funds raised with the event were handed to the foundation to be delivered to children made orphan by embargo and war in Palestine.

The night that was presented by İbrahim İnecik started with a speech by IHH Middle East coordinator Aynacı. In his speech Aynacı talked about history of Palestine and the oppression its people have been subjected to and concluded his remarks by thanking the attendants crowding the hall for supporting the Palestinian cause. Artists Mustafa Cihat, Serdar Tuncer, Ömer Karaoğlu, and Grup Genç contributed to the event with their lively performances, while whirling dervishes left a mark on the night with their performance.   

Various items such as key rings, wristbands, Mavi Marmara moneyboxes were sold at the event by volunteers and the money raised was given to the IHH to be sent to Palestinian orphans.
