1,280 Qurban shares delivered to Syrians
IHH aid teams delivered shares of sacrificial animals to 11,000 Syrians.
MiddleEast, Syria, Turkey 01.11.2012

IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which completed its Qurban campaign with the “Qurban is worshipping, sharing brotherhood,” slogan, distributed shares of 1,280 sacrificial animals donated by charitable people to people in need during Qurban period.

Our teams carried out sacrificial slaughters and meat distributions in 101 countries around the world and 66 city and district centers across Turkey during the Eid al-Adha. Carrying out routine relief efforts in Syria, IHH also took sacrificial meat to Syrians.

Slaughtering 41,000 shares of sacrificial animals across the world during Eid al-Adha, IHH delivered sacrificial meat to 11,000 Syrians.

In addition to the 280 shares of sacrificial animals slaughtered in Syria, teams from the IHH’s crisis desk in Hatay delivered sacrificial meat to around 11,000 Syrians in Hatay’s Reyhanlı, Altınözü and Yayladağı districts.

Upon the request of IHH charity givers, 2,000 packages of meat, each of which weighs around four kilograms, were delivered to the Syrians in Hatay and neighboring provinces.
