Humanitarian aid work is in progress for the victims of the war in Syria. Within the last month our foundation has sent 27 truckloads of humanitarian aid to Rojava and Kobani regions that is densely populated by Kurds in Syria.
Due to the civil war in Syria, IHH teams distributed humanitarian aid parcels consisting of food, cleaning products, biscuits, and baby food to the people that are going through a difficult time.
The needy community that was overjoyed by the aid thanked IHH teams and officials "Em pîr şükur dîkîn jî İHH’yêre."
IHH Şanlıurfa representative Behçet Atila provided information regarding the aid, and expressed that they have been providing aid to the Rojav region since the war that began in 2011 and that this is the biggest aid they have done.
Atila said that, there has been 27 trucks sent to Rojava so far and that there will be a continuation of the aid, the target is to send at least 100 trucks to the region.
Atila expressed that when providing help they never do ethnic and sectarian discrimination, aid is conducted according to their grievance and aid is distributed to the oppressed victims by IHH teams. Atila stated that they have distributed 13 truckloads of aid to the people in Kobani and its villages, also that the community is pleased with the aid and still calls to thank them.
Atila added that they expect more support from generous people to deliver humanitarian aid to those in need.
