IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) relief foundation has signed two agreements totally worth of 610 thousand dollars to develop IHH’s Syria aid activities.
Millions of Syrians among many of whom are needy and do not have anyone to help have to stay in refugee camps during the winter waiting for helping hands. IHH is mediating these helping hands to reach the oppressed ones.
In this scope, IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation and Aksi Cepat Tanggap foundation has signed two agreements related with supporting bakeries and construction of a tent city.
450 Thousand Dollars for Bakeries
The first agreement which signed by IHH General Secretary Yavuz Dede and ACT Vice Director Syuhelmaidi Syukur concerning with the distribution of bread to refugees in Syria for six months. With the agreement, the necessary material for IHH bakeries in rural Aleppo and Kilis which have daily capacity of 40 thousand pita breads will be met.
ACT Supports Tent Cities
The other agreement concerning the construction of 100 tents with all necessary equipment. With the 160 thousand dollar worth agreement 100 Syrian families will have the opportunity to live in a warm place. The tent city will also have shower and toilet containers.
