A number of children who were made orphan by the tsunami that hit Aceh showed their support to their Palestinian brothers and sisters.

The orphans staying at the Istanbul Orphanage organized "Palestine Support Night" in support of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The event that was organized by 100 orphans at the orphanage drew a large turnout. Attendants were quite moved by the sketch staged by the orphans featuring Palestinian mujahedeen. A documentary film about the history of Palestine was displayed and the orphans handed over their allowances, totally $60, to the orphanage manager to be extended to Gaza.

In another program co-organized by the orphans and Acehnese charitable people, fund was raised for the Gazan people. Israeli flag was burnt as well as verses from Quran and prayers were recited in support of the killed Palestinians.
