IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, which has been carrying out relief efforts for about 20 years in Arakan, has laid the foundation of Mehmet Akifİnan Islamic Social Complex in cooperation with Civil Servants' Trade Union (Memur-Sen).
Arakan 05.11.2013

The social complex will serve for the orphan children of Arakan.

Previously, IHH opened the DarulIman Orphanage for orphan children of Arakan. The Mehmet Akifİnan Islamic Social Complex is expected to provide accommodation to 100 orphans in addition to offering them education and an opportunity to be involved in social activities.

Meeting all the expenses of the social complex, Memur-sen will also regularly support 100 orphans who will stay in the orphanage as part of IHH’s sponsorship system.

In the social complex, whose construction is expected to be completed within a year, there will be dormitories, vocational schools, a health clinic, activity rooms, playing rooms and a mosque.
