Aid teams of IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation headed for designated countries and regions days ahead of Eid al-Adha to deliver Qurban donations of Muslims of Turkey. The teams got to work on the first day following Eid prayers and slaughtered sacrifices donated to the foundation through delegation. In some regions the teams had to carry out distributions in minus 12 degrees, while in flood-hit regions they used boats to deliver donations to stranded villages.

IHH views Qurban ritual as a kind of “Buraq” and sets out for different parts of the world in an effort to establish a bridge of brotherhood among Muslims.

AID DISTRIBUTION IN TATARSTAN IN FREEZING WEATHER

IHH teams in Tatarstan slaughtered sacrifices in minus 12 degrees and distributed to people in need. Aid distributions in the towns of Buinsk and Zalensky, Kazan attracted huge interest from local people. Tatar people asked IHH teams quite a lot of questions about Turkey and expressed gratitude to the foundation and its donators.

Another country where IHH focuses on and does a great deal of humanitarian work is Pakistan. Floods inflicted immense damage on the country both last year and this year. IHH supports Pakistan with permanent projects and sent a 15-member team to the country to carry out Qurban activities. The team spread across the country in groups and held activities and checked old projects.
