IHH is at the earthquake zone with a 3,359 person team
Search and rescue efforts continue in the areas affected by the earthquake. 65 search and rescue teams of IHH, consisting of 1447 people, are working together with 2 search and rescue dogs. IHH also continues its aid efforts in other ways such as providing food, shelter and clothing through an emergency aid distribution team consisting of 1728 people. IHH Chairman Bülent Yıldırım, Executive Board Members and 184 coordination officers are also in the earthquake area.

Search and rescue efforts continue. IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation, continues their search and rescue efforts that have started in the very first hours of the earthquake with 65 teams consisting of 1447 people. IHH Chairman Bülent Yıldırım, IHH Executive Board members and 184 coordination officers are also in the area to coordinate IHH's operations in the affected cities. IHH Search and Rescue Teams have rescued 260 people alive from the rubble so far.

Hot meals has been given out to 470,000 people

IHH is also rushing to the aid of all the people affected by the earthquake by providing food, shelter and clothing through its emergency aid distribution team consisting of 1728 people. So far, hot meals have been distributed to 470,000 people by IHH. 2 mobile soup kitchen continue to distribute hot meal to the citizens. In addition, 219 trucks containing supplies such as food, boots, coats, diapers, flour and water set out for the cities affected by the earthquake.

Other aid efforts carried out by IHH for the people affected by the earthquake are as follows:

-509,391 loaves of bread

-6,969 crates of water

-3,469 food parcels

-9,765 packages of hygiene materials

-1,568 children's and adult coats

-3,633 blankets

-2,169 crates of various food (milk, cake, etc.)

-31 tents for shelter

-2 medicine tents

-1.4 tons of potatoes

-5,038 cans of food

-597 sponge mattresses

Those who want to donate higher amounts can do so by writing "EARTHQUAKE" in the explanation section of their donations  through IHH's website or in their bank statements.

IHH Continues Emergency Aid Efforts in Bangladesh
IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation continues its emergency aid efforts in Bangladesh following the floods that have affected 5.6 million people. So far, we have provided hot meals to 18,000 people and distributed food packages and dry goods to 500 families. Additionally, our set up mobile clinic is providing health services to 200 people daily.
