It has been six days since Israel began attacking Gaza. Ninety-two Palestinians including 22 children have been martyred in the Israeli attacks so far while hundreds of Palestinians have been injured. Serious problems, shortage of medicine and medical supplies in particular, have begun to emerge in Gaza. Although hospitals work at full capacity, doctors have big problems in finding the necessary medication.

While Israeli attacks on Gaza continue, a-10-member delegation including members from the IHH and AID are travelling to Gaza today. There are six IHH officials and four AID doctors in the delegation. The delegation will give priority to taking the necessary medical supplies and medicine for Gaza.

The emergency aid team which will go to Gaza today will act in cooperation with the IHH office in Gaza. IHH Gaza office continues relief efforts in the region without a stop.

IHH Emergency Aid Coordinator Recep Güzel who is among the team members who will go to Gaza said: “What is urgently needed in Gaza now is medicine and medical supplies. As IHH, we will provide both medical aid and food. We will do our best to heal the wound of our sisters and brothers.”
