From Asia to Latin America, from Africa to the Far East and from Balkans to the Middle East a large number of countries, particularly those hit by war, occupation and natural disaster, will be visited by IHH teams.

Charitable people can donate an animal to be sacrificed in a country of their choice by donating 250 Turkish liras to the IHH until the first day of Eid al-Adha. The IHH is expecting to receive over 50,000 donations and deliver them to 2.5 million people.

IHH President Bülent Yıldırım recalled that Qurban has a social mission to bring together the whole Islamic world and added: “The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation goes beyond physical distance to join Muslims spiritually. It brings together the Muslim world to strengthen brotherhood among different Muslim peoples, to share with them and to sacrifice in the name of Allah. The foundation aims to take Qurban donations of philanthropic people to the needy in 120 countries and 50 provinces of Turkey just as it reached out to millions of poor people last year.”
