IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has opened an office in the Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul.
Sultanbeyli Governer İbrahim Özefe, Sultanbeyli Major Hüseyin Keskin, IHH President Bülent Yıldırım and many volunteers and charitable people attended to the opening ceremony that was held in Bosna Bulvarı.
Speaking in the ceremony and reminding that IHH opened many associations in many places, Bülent Yıldırım said ¨We are opening our first agency here. Because of this, you are going to be models with your humanitarian aid activities.¨
Pointing out that as IHH they care of 50 thousand orphans in the world, Yıldırım said, ¨According to offical declarations, there are 210 million orphans in the world but IHH estimates that this number is approximately 400 million.
Yıldırım stated that according to the official records, organs of one million children were sold between the years 1998-2007 and said ¨We are Muslims and we are responsible for these children. We are Muslims and we are the khalifs of Allah on the earth, we don't have any free time even for a minute. If there is an orphan crying in a district, everybody there is responsible from this. I trust all of you with Allah.¨
Sulanbeyli Mayor Hüseyin Keskin expressed his satisfaction from the opening of first agency of IHH in Sultanbeyli district and said they will undertake this responsiblity alltogether.
The office was opened with prayers after the ribbon-cutting ritual.
